Thomas Quasthoff received his third Grammy for his 2004 release of Bach cantatas. If anything, this release of duets for baritone and soprano is more beautiful than its predecessor. (The cantatas include "Selig ist der Mann," BWV 57; "Tritt auf die Glaubensbahn," BWV 152; and "Ich geh und suche mit Verlangen," BWV 49.) Both Quasthoff and Dorothea Röschmann grew up with Bach's sacred music, and it shows.
