This tragicomic short play by James Prideaux is about the fantasies, inhibitions, and dreams of two lonely matrons, Edith (Eileen Herlie) and Mabel (Martha Scott), who set up competing lemonade stands along a jammed highway. Why? They just don't know. But their lemonade is spiked with vodka and gin, and as they taste one another's concoctions, they open up and begin to provide some answers.
