Sometimes called "yoga in action," Thai massage has been practiced for over a thousand years. Like other forms of massage it employs a flowing sequence of stretches, but instead of using only your fingers, pressure is applied with the thumbs, palms, elbows, knees, and feet. This manual offers a detailed program of 150 illustrated sequences in ten complete sessions that concentrate on a particular part of the body. Each movement is clearly explained, and color photos with superimposed artwork indicate how the pressure is applied.
