This is the original album from filmmaker and photographer Andrew Zuckerman, whose visual style of super sharp studio portraits against seamless white backgrounds has become instantly recognizable. In 150 page-filling images, Zuckerman brings us up close (sometimes very close) to mammals, reptiles, fish, birds, and insects we thought we knew, letting us discover them all over again. We see a bald eagle landing, talons spread; a jackrabbit taking slow steps; an elephant's wise eye, and also his ponderous foot. Here too are a black leopard cub exploring, tiger cubs at play, a handsome macaw, and a comically quizzical mandrill, who then bares his wickedly sharp teeth in a howl.
