In an unexpected but inspired collaboration, the creator of the long-running comic strip MUTTS joins forces with poet and translator Daniel Ladinsky for an homage to the animals we love. Mixing gentle wit with thoughtful insight on the bond between species, Ladinsky writes with haiku-like brevity; "I have been moved to tears / thinking about a chew toy," one puppy laments, while a cat ponders, "Scratching my back against the moon, / my yoga."
