In this fourth outing for Dev Petty and Mike Boldt's irrepressible amphibian (which all started with I Don't Want to Be a Frog), young Frog is excited about the coming of winter, after Pig told him about skating, cocoa, and snow. But frogs hibernate, as Owl informs him—they sleep through the winter—and Frog is not happy to hear that. Can his friends find a way to convince him that going to sleep is what he needs to do? Readers 4 to 7 may find, just as Frog does, that bedtime can be lots of snuggly fun.
"Boldt's big, bold animal characters fill the pages, as dialogue balloons contribute to the liveliness of Petty's storytelling."—Publishers Weekly
