Much as we may associate British artist Henry Moore with sculptures of abstract reclining figures, he also created whimsical helmeted heads throughout his career, inspired by his fascination with medieval armor. The 100 illustrations here introduce this charming aspect of Moore's art as well as his preparatory sketches, with some of the highlights being A Stringed Head and Five Internal Forms. This exhibit catalog also features numerous examples of the helmets, weapons, and suits of armor held in London's Wallace Collection, which Moore knew well from his many visits to the museum.
