Influenced by cubism as well as by African masks and sculpture, Italian expatriate Amedeo Modigliani crafted his utterly unique style of painting in 1910s Paris. Four of his portraits decorate the twenty notecards in this box—The Pretty Housewife, Béatrice, Portrait of Jeanne Hébuterne, and Girl with a Polka-Dot Blouse—and the set includes white envelopes.
