Long fascinated by the idea of the "American Dream," Canadian photographer Ian Brown set out to document, in photographs and words, what that idea means to Americans of all backgrounds. Over the course of 12 years, Brown traveled more than 80,000 miles in an old truck, visiting all 50 states and connecting with hundreds of people.
