As any of us who have ever gotten lost in a city can attest, getting from start to finish isn't always about taking the most direct route. Inspired by such artists as M.C. Escher, Thomas Radclyffe has crafted 50 elaborate urban mazes, dimensional drawings where you'll encounter skyscrapers, ramps, walkways, ladders, and windows in busy cityscapes—yet most of them are distractions! Each maze includes false paths branching out in all directions, narrow openings to squeeze through, and plenty of surprises meant to confound and delight.
