When a body found on the Honeychurch Hall estate proves to be that of Charlie Green—who had supposedly moved to Ireland years earlier—rumors start making the rounds. In her eighth outing (after Death of a Diva at Honeychurch Hall), Kat is drawn into the mystery when she finds two rare miniature portraits hidden inside a dollhouse on the estate. Charlie's aunt suffers a mysterious fatal fall, and Kat thinks they have the wrong suspect. Somehow it all connects to the dollhouse, and Kat must uncover the secret that someone is willing to kill for.
