Across the vast, wind-swept plains of Mongolia, nomadic tribes freely roam, guided by the rhythmic changes of the seasons. Beginning in 2000, photographer Hamid Sardar immersed himself in this fascinating people's way of life, following them throughout their daily rituals, hunting expeditions, and spiritual practices to capture their centuries-old practices. In the breathtaking images here, a child dozes against the side of a white reindeer, a herder rides a motorbike in a blinding snowstorm, and an old man walks amid the hills with two tame wolves.
