Francis Reboul is taking in the view from his coastal estate in the South of France, awaiting the arrival of his friend Sam Levitt, when he spies a yacht whose passengers are a little too interested in his property. It seems that rapacious Russian tycoon Oleg Vronsky wants Reboul's villa for his own purposes, and Sam—in his third outing, following The Marseilles Caper—will have to negotiate with an underworld of mercenaries and hit men to prevent his friend from becoming a victim of Vronsky's "Russian diplomacy."
