In 1951's Vengeance Valley, crippled Colorado cattle rancher Arch Strobie (Ray Collins) takes in young Owen Daybright (Burt Lancaster), raising him alongside his own son, dissolute Lee (Robert Walker). Increasingly consumed by jealousy, Lee plots against Owen, but soon the vendetta will be beyond his control. Also included here, The Sundowners (1950) puts a different spin on the theme of sibling rivalry, as moral Tom Cloud (Robert Sterling) proves willing to look the other way when it comes to cattle rustling, while his more mercenary brother James (Robert Preston) may even be willing to kill in the name of a good cause. John Barrymore Jr. co-stars as younger brother Jeff, while western fixtures Jack Elam and Chill Wills lend solid support.
