This 1902 novel follows the great detective as he investigates a death seemingly caused by a family curse, in the form of a supernatural hellhound. Sir Charles Baskerville apparently died of a heart attack after encountering the beast on the moors, and Sir Henry, last heir of the Baskerville estate, fears that the vengeful hound will destroy him as well.
