In the 1950s Rosemary Clooney came into her own as a singer, and was eager to leave behind her earlier novelty hits; these radio performances on her own program and on The Bing Crosby Show gave her a chance to try out material worthy of her stellar voice, backed by small groups or orchestra. Previously unreleased, the 24 remastered tracks here include "Anything Goes," "Taking a Chance on Love," "Tenderly," "Who Kissed Me Last Night," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "Nice Work If You Can Get It," "Thou Swell," "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm," and—perhaps in homage to her home state—"You're in Kentucky Sure as You're Born."
