As chic and sleek as the designer's signature cigarette pants, Loulou de La Falaise was a long-standing muse to fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, and was also "the highest of haute bohemia" in her own right. Descended from Coco Chanel and Elsa Schiaparelli, Loulou inspired Saint Laurent throughout his storied career, and was one of the few people who could make him laugh and talk him off the ledge when he was plagued by his myriad neuroses. Their symbiotic relationship is a story told here by more than 200 voices, including memories from style icons Karl Lagerfeld, Diana Vreeland, and Andy Warhol.
