In July 1956, Marilyn Monroe arrived in London—on honeymoon with her husband Arthur Miller—to make The Prince and the Showgirl with Sir Laurence Olivier. Uncomfortable in a mansion with servants who were spying for the tabloids, Marilyn likewise suffered during filming, as she and Olivier began to despise each other.
