On the West Yorkshire moors, the mysterious foundling Heathcliff is taken in by the Earnshaw family. Forbidden to marry their daughter, Catherine, Heathcliff plots a revenge that will be the undoing of them all. Emily Brontë's 1847 classic is supplemented here by Marjolein Bastin's ornate botanical embellishments, as well as tipped-in maps, letters, family trees, and sheet music that add to the believability of the tale.
