For well over a century, Sherlock Holmes has not only captivated readers, he has fascinated writers as well. It is little wonder, then, that when Sherlockians Laurie King and Leslie Klinger invited their writer-friends and colleagues to be inspired by the Holmes canon, they wound up with 15 short story contributions from such authors as Chelsea Quinn Yarbro ("A Case of Mistaken Identity"), Joe Hill ("Mr. Holmes, I Presume?"), Maria Alexander ("Cumberbachelor"), Naomi Hirahara ("Infinite Loop"), and Brad Parks ("A Scandal on the Jersey Shore").
