In this comic 1953 sequel to On Moonlight Bay, William Sherman (Gordon MacRae) returns from service in World War I and suggests to Marjorie Winfield (Doris Day) that they postpone their wedding until they're on better financial footing. Meanwhile, Marjorie's meddlesome younger brother Wesley (Billy Gray) has concluded that the Winfield pater familias (Leon Ames) has fallen in love with a French actress (Maria Palmer), and the misunderstanding could easily turn into a scandal in this old-fashioned town. Among the songs are "Your Eyes Have Told Me So," "If You Were the Only Boy in the World," and "Ain't We Got Fun," while DVD extras include the Oscar-nominated 1954 cartoon From A to Z-Z-Z-Z.
