It's June, the roses are in bloom, and yet in the small English village of Finch, cottages remain vacant because someone is driving buyers away. Kept busy with her baby and dreading an upcoming visit from her relatives, Lori Shepherd is charmed by the warm-hearted inventor Arthur Hargreaves, dubbed the "Summer King" by his quirky family. Then Lori discovers that there is an ancient feud between Arthur's family and the town, and then there's his shady connection to the local real estate firm. Is the Summer King as kind as he seems? Following Aunt Dimity and the Wishing Well, the otherworldly sleuth Aunt Dimity makes her 20th investigation, on a crusade with Lori to save the village's good name.
