Boo to You!

In her delightful collage style, Caldecott Honoree Lois Ehlert uses fancy papers, buttons and strings, and cut-out color photos of her favorite autumnal veggies and fruits to illustrate the tale of a community of harvest mice ready to celebrate their annual fall feast. Unfortunately, Scary Cat seems to think he's invited—until those clever mice think up a way to turn him into a scaredy-cat. In this board book edition, Ehlert's simple rhymes offer prereaders a jaunty text, while a visual spread at the end of the book identifies all of the tasty autumn produce in the pictures.
