Prereaders can then act out their own stories with the six stand-up figures provided—a boy, girl, sheep, pig, horse, and cow— while they count up items on the farm and search throughout the book for hidden details. Ed Myer populates his brightly colored cartoon illustrations with adorably round-faced characters.
