Laser-cut from black cardboard just 1mm thick, these paper puzzles for builders 8 and up assemble into delightfully creepy models that are realistic enough to startle the unwary observer. No glue or tools are required to build your own tarantula, mantis, scorpion, or bee; just punch out the two-dozen or more pieces and slot your insect or arachnid together (though we do recommend a tiny dot of glue for each joint if you wish to build it as a permanent model). The finished creatures are life-sized—with the exception of the bee, which is about twice life-sized—and measure between 3 and 5 inches long (the puzzles are assorted; please let us choose for you).
